Welcome to Buy Doujinshi! By using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Scope of Application
These Terms of Service apply to all transactions made through Buy Doujinshi and govern the relationship between the customer and our store.
2. Orders & Payment
- All orders must be placed through our website.
- Accepted payment methods: Credit Card (processed via Stripe).
- Payment is processed immediately upon checkout.
- Orders cannot be modified after completion. If an item is out of stock, the amount will be deducted from future international shipping costs or refunded (excluding payment processing fees).
3. Pricing & Additional Fees
- Prices are listed in Japanese yen (JPY).
- Additional Fees:
- Fixed Commission: 500 yen
- Commission Fee: 10% of the subtotal of purchased items
- Domestic Shipping: Varies by store
- International Shipping: Calculated based on weight
4. Order Processing & Shipping
4.1 Domestic Processing & Handling
- Once payment is confirmed, we purchase the items from the respective stores.
- If an item is out of stock, we will notify you and adjust the order accordingly.
- Processing time: Up to 15 days (excluding pre-order items).
4.2 International Shipping
- Customers will receive a shipping cost estimate once the order is ready.
- Available shipping methods: DHL, FedEx, EMS, and Registered Airmail (where applicable).
- We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs procedures.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders cannot be canceled after purchase.
- If a refund is issued, payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) will not be refunded.
- No refunds for abandoned orders. If the customer does not pay for international shipping within 3 months, the order will be considered abandoned.
6. Returns & Exchanges
- Returns & exchanges are NOT accepted unless the product is defective.
- If there is a defect, customers must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.
- Digital purchases (e-books, scans) are non-refundable once delivered.
7. Scanning Service
- If an item is purchased for scanning, the physical book will be destroyed during the scanning process.
- By purchasing a scanning service, the customer agrees to this condition and cannot request the physical book afterward.
- Digital files will be delivered via Google Drive or another file-sharing service.
8. Disclaimers & Responsibilities
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once they have been handed over to the shipping carrier.
- We do not guarantee restocking of out-of-stock items.
- Customers are responsible for any import taxes or customs fees imposed by their country.
9. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated via email or a website notice.
